Kim Wilson This one day course will provide teachers new to the subject with ideas, inspiration and most importantly, resources that can be applied in the classroom. During the course of the day participants will be provided with an overview of a well designed course of study for the Preliminary and HSC Modern History course as well as detailed exploration of a number of individual Case Studies. Particular attention will be paid to the Preliminary and HSC Core together with source analysis skills. The course will also provide opportunities for developing assessment tasks and marking criteria. Teachers attending will have access to extensive teaching notes, to use in the classroom.
