This workshop will concentrate on creating a solid understanding of basic tools and principles for editing and managing digital images in Photoshop. During the day you will prepare an image for a promotional postcard and be given the skills and resources to develop and optimise the image for use in print and web,to develop an understanding of photographic post production techniques in the industry. At the end of the day you will receive a CD with your completed work. Participants will have access to extensive notes and tutorials that will be most useful for themselves and their students in the classroom situation. The course is designed for people with no or little experience with Photoshop. Macintosh computers are used for the course as they are more prevalent in industry and tertiary institutes but all skills are transferable to PC.(previously named Digital Darkroom-Photoshop basics)
