This workshop discusses the link between development and behaviour. Techniques to identify behaviour problems in adolescents and practical strategies teachers can implement to help adolescents behave more appropriately in a variety of different situations are presented. Management strategies that can be used with students with additional needs will be outlined. Self-esteem and its links to behaviour, and ways teachers can enhance and nurture self-esteem are discussed.

An open mind, lots of questions to ask, a desire to share existing knowledge, pen and paper.
