The course is designed for teachers of Year 9 and 10 Geography students, particularly teachers who are not specifically Geography-trained. Participants will be helped with programming, teaching and assessing Focus Area 5A4 Australian in its Regional and Global Contexts. The emphasis will be on how to integrate the geographical tools into the teaching and learning activities of this wide-ranging area of study.

What to bring:

Please bring pen and note paper as well as your Stage 5 Geography syllabus. Course notes will be provided

Some interesting and helpful ideas. Could have been more structured with a focus on all of stage 5, not just one unit (this was the unit I was most comfortable with).
