Troy Beer The trainer for the day is an experienced short film maker.
During this course you will be introduced to all aspects of the video production process. From planning & storyboarding, to shooting raw footage, tips for lighting, sound and production through to the digital editing process. By the end of the day you will have produced a 30 second advertisement. This process can become the basis of a very successful student project back at school. You will be given advice about the equipment and software required, and may be surprised to find out how affordable it can be to start producing video with your students in the classroom. This is a beginners course, and there is absolutely no assumed knowledge. Editing will be carried out using iMovie, the skills learnt will be applicable in either a PC or a Mac environment.
What to bring:Bring a thumb drive if you have it to save digital resources from the course on to.
