Richard Andrew This is a 1-day face-to-face course. This course targets both competent secondary teachers who desire improved engagement with and management of students and secondary teachers who require more urgent assistance with student management. The course will present numerous strategies relevant to all secondary classrooms and demonstrate links between rapport with students, organization, engagement, praise and effective classroom management. A feature of the day will be the use of many excellent videos showcasing teachers working with a consultant on behaviour management issues which are relevant to all learning areas. NOTE: This course is also offered online. The online version (MSE00) runs over 6 weeks allowing participants to reflect more deeply on their teaching, to trial some of the strategies with their students and to report back on their experiences of trialling strategies via the online forum.
