Presenter: Richard Andrew

This course targets secondary teachers who, having completed the prerequisite-SMS Course 1, desire an opportunity to implement, for one term, some of the strategies presented during Course 1. A key feature of Course 2 will be the sharing by individuals of their student management experiences during the term. In addition the course will present further student management strategies and videos which are relevant to all KLAs. As a prerequisite participants will be required to complete an online summary of their student management strategies implementation experience. This summary will act as a basis for their verbal report to be shared with participants during the course. Email contact will also be available with the presenter. PLEASE NOTE: Participants will need to enroll at least 6 weeks prior to the course date in order to have sufficient time to report on the use of their strategies. Upon enrolling you will be directed in regard to the details of the report.

What to bring:

1) Implement several of the student management strategies presented in Course One with your classes 2) Prepare a report on your experience of implementing student management strategies since attending the first course.

The smaller class allowed for a great deal more personal reflection and sharing.
It was a good learning experience talking to other teachers and sharing own experience.
