Tackling the Area of Study- Tackling the Area of Study- Conceptual mapping and deconstruction of both prescribed and possible related texts requires clear understanding of what ‘Belonging’ means. Students also need to be about to identify ‘belonging’ concepts within varied texts and be able to evaluate how they have been represented. The teaching and revision framework will focus on developing interpretive and creative writing skills strategies related to ‘belonging’ concepts within varied texts. A range of print and multimedia ORTs will also be discussed.

What to bring:

Laptops would be useful for digital resource sharing in Session 3. Teachers are encouraged to bring copies of resource material they have found useful. Copies of the texts would also be useful. Workshop resources will be made available via a USB and limited website access.
