Presenter: Kim Preston

Adobe Premiere Pro is widely recognised as an industry standard when creating edited video sequences in a PC environment. This training course introduces the basic concepts of editing video using Adobe Premiere. Participants will become familiar with the Adobe Premiere interface and will use various tools to produce a professional-looking video editing sequence. On completion, participants will have ideas, inspiration and resources to use in the delivery of their own unit of work, addressing issues such as capturing footage, transitions between video footage, video effects, adding audio to video, and exporting movies in a usable format. Tha basic principles of video editing covered in this course are transferable across to other video editing programs such as Final Cut Pro.

What to bring:

A USB of at least 4GB will be sufficient to transfer files at the end of the day. Extra storage space will make it possible to work from your own hard drive during the workshop. Also, if you wish to bring your own footage, please check file format compatibility with Premier. It is preferable to work with footage provided on the day.

Productive, informative, comprehensive.
Excelletn workshop
I learnt everything I wanted plus loads more, as the course was well structured and presented.
Very good, great notes and well presented.
The course presentation and content was excellent. It was my first taste of video editing and I am a very slow learner with digital technology. I may return but this is not a negative reflection on the course at all.
A lot of content to cover in one day but notes are comprehensive enough to go over again on subsequent days.
Very informative
A very sequential course. It was great to have two demos and practice time. Excellent content. Thankyou.
Easy to understand. Moved quickly through a range of topics.
Fantastic content presentation, and knowledge.
Really good, love the information however I think to be able to take it all in do it over 2 days. Needed more time to play and get your head around it.
Very informative and excellent information. Perhaps slower steps needed at times. Overall a good course. Thank you.
Excellent information delivered. However the delivery was too rapid and didn't allow enough time to mater/ grasp a technique before moving on.
