Genre-Crime Writing will involve: -Defining Genre and Crime Writing -Defining key conventions, tenets, motifs and writing styles -Deconstructing crime writing elements in prescribed texts 'The Skull Beneath the Skin', 'The Real Inspector Hound' and 'Rear Window' -Development of student examination skills for the critical and creative sections of the Extension 1 paper -Examination of possible related texts and how they could be used.

What to bring:

Laptops and/or USB would be useful for digital resource sharing. Resource sharing amongst participants will be encouraged and so multiple copies of effective resources for distribution or a list of websites, ORT titles and so forth would be beneficial.
