John Christensen This course runs completely ONLINE using MOODLE as the teaching tool. The course is designed to be completed over 5 weeks (1 hour per week) but you may work through it at a faster pace if desired. I will be checking your progress each week - as I can see your course - and will be giving you some feedback on its progress. In this ONLINE workshop you will be able to upload teaching resources such as word documents, PDFs, audio, video and Flash files. You will create an online assignment, a quiz and a discussion forums that could be used for student assessment and feedback. By the end of the workshop you will have constructed an entire lesson in MOODLE. You will also have access to your Moodle course for 3 months after the workshop for further practice if required. I came into the course knowing very little about moodle and its uses and this introductory course helped to come to terms with some of the basic functions but also to get an idea of the potential to expand this into other areas and I will look at participating in the more advanced course at a later date. |
