Richard Andrew GeoGebra is cost-free, multi-platform mathematics software for schools, dynamically connecting concepts in geometry, algebra and calculus. This ONLINE course runs over 6 wks with the min requirement being 1 hr/wk. Many people spend 2-3 hrs/week. You are able to complete the course in a few long sittings (eg the holiday course). Please read teacher's comments: more info - scroll to the bottom. The focus of the course is on incorporating GeoGebra into your lessons. Valuable time will be allocated for you to explore and create. You will finish the course with over 50 pre-constructed files, detailed instructions to build many files and with an 'intermediate' skill level re the use of GeoGebra. There is every reason why you could incorporate GeoGebra into your teaching by the second or third week of the course.   | A really enjoyable and valuable course. I have learned a great deal about Geogebra and plan to use it in my lessons this year. I think it will engage students and enhance their visualization of concepts. I also feel inspired to research some more and find out more about the capabilities of Geogebra. |
