Morris Needleman Geogebra is the mathematical software that has taken the world by storm. Its is free and installed on all the laptops which our students in DET schools are using.This course is part of the 'Laptop in the Classroom' series so BRING YOUR OWN LAPTOP.
This course will provide strategies to enhance your lessons and your students' learning. You will finish the day with a thorough working knowledge of Geogebra. Not only that but you will receive a USB key full of resources that you can take home and use at school immediately.
We will also look at how you might create interesting and relevant assessment tasks, allowing you at least in part to step away from the pen and paper model of assessment.
What to bring:You will need to bring a laptop/notebook with Geogebra installed. The latest installers will be available on the day as well. Geogebra is multi-platform and the course will suit Mac and Windows users.
