This course is designed for teachers who wish to become comfortable with using Microsoft Excel 2007 and free Internet resources to teach Stage 5 Mathematics outcomes. Participants will be provided with hard & electronic copies of ready-to-use worksheets that use Excel to teach Consumer Arithmetic, Algebra and Data.Participants will be given the opportunity to attempt some of these worksheets and to create a worksheet to teach an outcome of their choosing. This course is designed for teachers who have no or only a small amount of experience with using Excel in the classroom. Those attending this course will also be shown some free Internet resources that can assist with the teaching of Consumer Arithmetic, Data & Probability. Participants will be given hard & electronic copies of ready-to-use worksheets that can be used in conjunction with these free Internet Resources. Part of the 'Laptop in the Classroom' Series so BRING YOUR OWN LAPTOP. Previously 'Using laptops in Stage 5 Maths'

What to bring:

Participants should bring their own laptop with Microsoft Office 2007. We will be using Microsoft Excel 2007.
