Presenter:
Dr Sarah Lovesy Dr. Christine Hatton is a co-trainer for the Stage 6 Playbuilding workshop. The workshop will explore effective ways for teachers to construct core playbuilding strategies in the Preliminary Year which create the foundational skills, knowledge and understanding for the HSC Group Performance. The workshop will practically unpack how these units of work can be created to ensure that there is pedagogic variety in the content, thus creating more complex units that require an inherently higher level of learning which can be transferred to the Group Performance. The participants will then explore how HSC Group Performance teaching and learning strategies can continue to provide a depth and breadth to the devising during Term 2, as well as helping the groups feel confident with their internal assessment tasks and the final external examination process.
