ECT00 Engaging Computer Tasks for Years 9 and 10 Maths (Course 1) - Online Course Course rating:

Course Description
Presenter: Stuart Palmer

Do you and your students have easy access to a computer and some mathematical software, such as Excel and Geogebra (which is a cost-free download)? Are you looking for some teaching ideas that will enthuse them, without spending hours building files from scratch? During this ONLINE course, you will download some really useful files that will enhance your students' understanding of mathematical concepts. You will also learn how these files were built, so that you can modify them or perhaps build something similar for other mathematical concepts. This is not a "how-to-press the buttons" PD course. Participants will see how technology can be blended into normal teaching and learning in such a way as to promote deep understanding of mathematical concepts, in a student-centred, inquiry-based approach.

This course was ok for resources but that is about it. I did not learn much, lucky it is NSWIT accredited.
It was interesting to read the submitted assignments from other students. The course was easy to follow and very informative. It covered a number of useful areas of need in technology.
