This ONLINE course will give you an introduction to the main aspects and functions in Photoshop. You will have a 'hands on' experience trying out your new skills in whatever version of photoshop you have-Photoshop (version 7 through to CS5) with step by step tutorials and imagebanks. The tutorials will cover Image Adjustments, Layers and selecting in Photoshop. We will also look at Aesthetic Styles in Digital Media with examples from digital artists and photographers. You will have the help of the presenter as well as sharing your questions and experience of Photoshop with other teachers taking the same course. You will have a bank of resources to download and use in your classroom. This course does not cover Photoshop elements, a lite version of photoshop. PD Hours = 8

| This course is brilliantly put together, and Liz was always available to answer questions and give helpful feedback. Each topic had clear, step-by-step instructions that any novice could follow. | Overwhelming at first in complexity but due to the repetition of tasks to be submitted, however, by the end it was quite manageable. Liz was terrific in communication in all areas- her video tutorials, her PDFs, her emails and updates and of course feedbacks. I missed face to face at first but Liz communicated constantly. A challenge for me but it has been really worthwhile. |

| The course was a challenge for me to complete but when I achieved this,I was happy. It took me about three days to complete in total. The videos were excellent and the notes were logical and could be followed easily. Liz gave feedback straight away. I feel confident to use Photoshop in my Food Technology class in designing menus and logos now. |

| Although I am not a very technical person, by the end of the course, I was pleased with what I had achieved. Initially, I found it frustrating, as there are so many gaps in my knowledge but the course was well structured. Therefore, with guidance from Liz I made it to the end. I feel as if I have a basic understanding of photoshop and have collected some good teaching resources. |
