Toni Noble This highly experiential workshop demonstrates a number of practical and innovative teaching strategies that can improve student wellbeing at the same time as improving learning outcomes. The strategies include new multi-focus higher-order thinking tools, cooperative learning strategies, educational games & quizzes and tools for formative assessment. These strategies show how to translate the evidence on effective teaching (based on the work or John Hattie, Robert Marzano and others) into innovative, contemporary and effective classroom teaching strategies. The strategies are fun and engaging, promote critical and creative thinking and student responsibility for their learning, build relationships and teach social skills.
