Presenter:
Monica Thom Teaching Stage 4 Mandatory Geography can be challenging for Geography-trained teachers. For those untrained, who have been saddled with one or two Geography classes to make up a teaching load, the task can be overwhelming.
Geography content is usually not the problem. But geographic skills can be! The task can be made less overwhelming by learning how to do the skills. This day's course will do that.
The day will be spent on programming Focus Areas 4G1 and 4G2 of the syllabus with the emphasis on skills development and using these skills to teach the content.
