Teaching Stage 5 Mandatory Geography can be challenging for Geography-trained teachers. For those untrained, who have been saddled with one or two Geography classes to make up a teaching load, the task can be overwhelming. Geography content is often not the problem, but the geographic skills can be! The task can be made less overwhelming by learning how to teach the skills. This day's course will do that. The day will be spent on programming Focus Areas 5A2, 5A3 and 5A4 with emphasis on the how to teach these areas using geographic skills.
