I found the course very relevant and practical. The units were well paced so that I did not feel under pressure. The access to feedback from other participants was also useful.
Course was ok in terms of some helpful hints regarding teaching strategies. I had hoped for more programming assistance with regard to the new national curriculum and history
I really enjoyed working through this course. The ideas and classroom activities presented to me were extremely useful and very practical in my classroom. It was easy to complete, I didn't feel rushed to get the work completed as we could work through it at our own pace over the week.Glen is to be commended for putting together such a worthwhile and invaluable course that has certainly benefitted me as a History teacher. Thank you.
I was hoping for a bit more info regarding interpretation of the curriculum rather than just descriptions of activities that fit into it. The activities were really great, but more about the actual curriculum document would have been helpful.
So many user freindly activities and ideas that transformed the idea of History for my students. It made sources relevant and interesting and allowed them to discuss (a rarity) in Year 9 rooms!!
