In 2012 we will see the most radical changes to the HSC mathematics examinations in 30 years. All of this is to happen before the National Curriculum sees the light of day. This course will fully prepare teachers for the changes. We will workshop the writing of original assessment task questions, ensuring we meet the new guidelines. Teachers will leave with resources to meet the challenge of the new HSC in 2 Unit mathematics.

Opportunity to talk with colleagues from other schools very useful. Pleasantly surprised with the hands on/ involved aspect of the course. Great to come away with so many resources. Not a lecture, a guided discussion. Difficult to see screen from back.

I found the 2 morning sessions quite informative - eased my concerns re components and weighing etc. I did not find the afternoon session as helpful, but overall a useful day.
