Presenter:
Jonathan Dunbier A course designed to introduce teachers to industry standard vector graphics creation package Adobe Illustrator. Requiring no previous knowledge of the software, the unit will cover all you need to know to start implementing this powerful educational tool in your classroom. All content is taught in a hands on manner, allowing you to learn by completing examples that can be used when training students.
What to bring:Before attending the course, try to look at the software at least once just to get a quick idea of what the interface looks like.
If you have already attempted to use the software, bring along any questions you may have. It would also be good to bring along ideas for course units you have that may be able to work with the software.

Good demonstration - would have liked the addition of tutorials - printed - so I can take them and use them at a later date.
Loads of content. Good knowledge base and clear examples of work and use of main use of application and it's tools.
We covered a lot! Which is great yet can explain or demo certain items a little better.
Program needs to be slowed up to meet all participants needs.
A lot of information. Presenter had a sense of urgency. Needs to speak slower. More info in book and to follow through booklet.
Content needs to be spread over a longer perios.
Very compact. Solid tips on how to get into Illustrator basic. Information is clear and easy to memorise. A 'De-dramatising' experience.
Not enough time to practice. Should probably be a 2 day course so that you have time to make a resource.
Course was a little rushed. Quite difficult to keep up. However content was appropriate for an intro course.
Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic presenter. I would have liked more working examples/ tutorials that I could take back and use with students.
Good. More detailed notes with explanations would assist varied abilities in groups.
Great information about use os interface tools. Steps about the little tasks done with students were interesting but rushed. These are useful for the classroom.
