Excellent resources and ideas given with humour! Morris, very aproachable, generous with knowledge and resources.
Very engaging material. Some things I'd seen before, but it was still good seeing them again. I felt I would have liked more time on some aspects of the course, but I'm sure the CD will fill in the gaps.
Excellent overview of available software and possible applications
A great variety of ideas/suggestions - a little overwhelming at times, but wonderful rsources. I am inspired to update and improve my skills! A computer to play with from time to time would have been nice. Thank you for all the great power pts, sketchpads etc.
The seminar provides lots of useful and informative resources, website addresses and tips to motivate students to do maths in general and in Ext 1 and 2 in particular. I would strongly recommend this course.
Morris, I had the pleasure of coming to your course a second time, previously an Ext 1. Thanks for the CD's, enlightening use of technos and insightful approaches into good mathematics.
The material is very informative. Morris has shown how we can use technology to teach Extension 2 mathematics. I find technological aspect could be veru motivational.
Entertaining and informative. Helpful in emphasing usefulness of technology as a teaching tool. Lots of references to websites to locate resources, entertaining segments for bright students!
Up to date, interesting. I like how dynamic these seminars are - I reckon I could come again in 2 years and because technology has changed it would be just as beneficial. Thanks!
Interesting ideas and techniques. Very practicable, Great food!
Lots of cool gimmicks and technology. Good stuff on harder extension 1. A bit light on other areas of the course. Would have liked more interaction/hands on stuff or more practical applications. Good resources to keep!
Morris is an outstanding presenter. He is both an inspiration and a motivator. His style is excellent and he displays confidence in all that he does. Well done!
Would have been good to play with some of the software!
Excellent set of resources and discussion of Ext. 2 concepts.
Fantastic to receive the copy of Morris' powerpoints. Great presentation of software available. Lots of interesting trivia!. Thorough coverage of mechanics but not other topics.
Very fun and informative day. Good resources and use of I.T.
Very good for all the mention of all the various resources out there!
The strategies to be used in Ext. 2 classes ver enlightening. The powerpoint presentations and the geometry software would be helpful and make exciting lessons.
Very helpful and Morris is an excellent teacher.
Inspiring demonstration of usable technology, especially to illustrate solids for specially challenged. Entertaining musical excerpts.
Imaginative, stimulating and entertaining. I was engaged throughout the presentation. I lack the computing expertise to pass this wonderful experience onto my students.
Powerpoints are excellent. Very informative.
Presentation was well done. Content was stimulating. Digressions were even more stimulating, sitting and listening for a long time was difficult, but I gusess not much can be done about that!
The course is very entertaining and interesting. The course is very much technology orientated. It's good if the teacher is very competent in use of computer.
The wide range of resources available and the thorough explanation of how these can be used in the classroom were great. I know that I have a better idea of how to teach the students especially in terms of them understanding the leaving behind the mathematical concept.
Have picked up some tips to pass onto students and have learned some uses of software packages that are on my laptop but have not used to the full potential.
