Darryn Kruse works as a teacher at Fitzroy High School. As a professional writer and speaker he works in the areas of change management and educational research, acting as critical friend for several negotiated school reviews and whole school reform projects, coordinating large-scale research projects into education reform (Vic. Yrs 5-8 Research Project & William Buckland Foundation Middle Years of Schooling 'Lighthouse Schools' Project). Darryn has written numerous books,articles and workshops on adolescence & middle schooling, literacy, cooperative learning,assessment & reporting, multiple intelligences & personalising learning. His most recent books, Thinking Strategies for the Inquiry Classroom and Thinking Tools for the Inquiry Classroom, published by Curriculum Corporation in 2009.
