Anita worked for the NSW DET for 9 years as a secondary mathematics teacher and then for 4 years as a Mathematics Consultant K-8. After working on the NSW GO Maths teaching program, she joined ORIGO Education. As an
International Consultant she inspired teachers across Australia and the USA with conference addresses, teacher workshops, and in-class demonstration lessons that showed her passion for practical, hands-on activities. This stemmed from her research into the use of concrete materials to teach Number and Algebra concepts in the middle years. Anita is now a private consultant and provides tailored professional development that models curriculum differentiation and connects concepts for all students in mixed ability classrooms.
