This one-day course offers a practical guide for teachers on how to engage students in Business Studies. It has particular relevance for those new to the subject and will provide ideas, inspiration and resources that can easily be applied in the classroom. Participants will gain insights into the syllabus as well as programming ideas and teaching strategies. The course provides opportunities for collegial discussions and sharing of ideas and strategies for effective classroom practice. Teachers attending have access to resources that provide ongoing inspiration for your students.
Teachers new to Business Studies and/or wanting to develop resources / skills

Completing “Inspiration in teaching Business Studies” before 4th February 2022 under NESA’s interim arrangements will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accredited PD in the priority area of Delivery and assessment of NSW curriculum addressing standard descriptors 3.4.2, 3.3.2, 2.6.2, 2.2.2, 2.1.2, 1.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
This course will run via Zoom. You will be sent the details of how to join this PD the day before the course runs.
