General Description

This workshop will provide you with sure-fire strategies that are guaranteed to produce the best writing your students have ever done. You will gain the skills to enhance the basics engagingly: punctuation, grammar and complex sentences. You will be provided with a multitude of tried in the classroom strategies and models that engage, enhance creativity and produce meaningful writing. You will develop the expertise to teach journalistic skills and the creativity of non-fiction writing. You will be provided with links to real-world writing audiences and a swag of resources. You will gain skills to teach persuasive writing effectively through brain facts, the prerequisites for persuasion and knowing the most effective persuasive structure You will be introduced to a plethora of approaches to inspire poetic writing.

Audience

All upper primary teachers and secondary English teachers to year ten and above will find amazing resources for the teaching of writing.
