State-Specific Information

NSW (NESA)

TTA continues to support NSW teachers in meeting their professional development requirements. While NESA is gradually phasing out the formal accreditation of provider-delivered courses, all TTA courses remain fully valid for logged PD hours in your maintenance of accreditation.

TTA currently retains a number of NESA-accredited courses, but as this practice is being phased out, the good news is: every TTA course qualifies as professional development that can count towards your 100‑hour requirement. By following NESA’s core guidance for professional development and record‑keeping, you can log your TTA learning in eTAMS with confidence.

This means that no matter which TTA course you choose, you’re building your professional capacity, enhancing your teaching practice, and moving closer to maintaining your accreditation seamlessly.
