General Description

Explore thinking tools that go beyond mind maps and PMI charts. In this course, you’ll experience tools that help ascertain prior knowledge, dig deep into a topic and guide reflection. You’ll be able to weave each tool into your curriculum and create a culture of engaged thinkers and learners.

 In this course, you’ll learn:

  • How to teach each element of the Critical and Creative Thinking general capability.
  • How to dig deep into topics and personal opinions.
  • How to help Foundation to Year 6 students identify their own thinking processes.
  • How to download lesson plans containing a range of thinking tools.
