Course Description

Google Classroom for Beginners will introduce teachers to the basic functions and operation of a Google Classroom from setup to completion of entire units of work.

The course will provide participants with the knowledge of how to use announcements, assignments and questions in the main course stream.

The course will also provide participants with the knowledge of how to grade work submitted via Classroom, convert files, use rubric-based assessment tools and use the communication features of Google Classroom.

Participants will also learn  how to integrate their existing resources with Google Classroom and Google Drive.

Audience

This course is not curriculum specific and is open to all participants.

Andrew is a secondary high school teacher teaching Economics, Business Studies, Commerce, Geography at East Hills Girls Technology High School. He has also taught Stage 6 Economics and Ancient History previously at Canterbury Boys' High School.
