Course Description

This provides teachers with a framework of ideas and tools for creating a highly engaging and enjoyable series of Composition and Film Music Remote Learning activities centred around creating a movie and composing a soundtrack.  Since there is a Composition focus, the activities can be directed to include a range of other Topic Areas such as Australian Music, Jazz, Music for Small Ensembles and Technology and its Influence on Music.

The activities can be adapted to suit Stages 3-6.  The software applications used in the demonstrations are iPhone Camera, GarageBand, and iMovie (all free with Apple devices).   The activities could also be adapted to suit Android and PC equivalent software applications and devices.
