What to focus on this week

The first week is all about momentum. Schools get the best value from the trial when teachers enrol early, know exactly what to do, and have one or two simple prompts from the leader during the week.

Your aim for Week 1: get teachers enrolled, make sure they know how to start, and create enough early activity that you can properly judge the value of the trial.

  • Share the teacher registration link and school code with the right staff straight away.
  • Encourage each teacher to enrol in their first course rather than “looking later”.
  • Give staff a simple reason to start this week — for example, “Please enrol in one course by Friday.”
  • Check mid-week whether people have managed to get in and whether anyone needs help.
  • At the end of the week, review the early participation snapshot and decide what reminder is needed next.

A quick mention at a staff or faculty meeting can make a big difference. The easier you make the first step, the more likely teachers are to engage.
