Course Description

High expectations are a hallmark of effective school leadership. But beyond slogans, truly high expectations involve strategically aligning curriculum, teaching, behaviour, and culture to support all students in achieving ambitious goals.  


This course aligns with Standard 1 of the Australian Professional Standard for Principals: Leading Teaching and Learning and supports leaders to build and lead school-wide systems of academic and behavioural expectation, underpinned by equity, evidence, and student agency.
